01 · The problem
Where the time went
Every quote waited for three sign-offs, and deals stalled for days in inboxes. When we asked what risk each approval managed, two of the three had no answer: they existed because they had always existed. Compliance still needed real control over pricing exceptions and credit terms.
02 · What we built
01Mapped every approval in the quote flow and the risk each one claimed to manage
02Replaced two blanket sign-offs with a single threshold rule: quotes inside guardrails go straight through
03Routed genuine exceptions to a named approver with an SLA, not a shared inbox
04Gave compliance a live dashboard of every exception and its outcome
“Two of our three approvals were guarding against a risk nobody could name. One threshold rule replaced both.”
