Solar sales, warehouse and commissions moved from Monday.com to Zoho One in under a month
Monday.com could not route leads by zipcode, closing rate and workload, or run a five-tier commission plan. Zoho One plus a custom routing engine on AWS now does both, and no lead sits unassigned.

01 · The problem
Where it hurt
Autargy sells and installs residential and commercial solar and runs its own warehouse of panels, inverters and batteries. Monday.com ran the business, and it was the ceiling. Autargy needed one system for CRM, accounting, inventory, custom apps and automation, with lead distribution clever enough to match each customer to the right rep.
01
Limited customisation
Monday.com lacked the advanced options complex solar workflows need, so industry-specific processes could not be built.
02
No intelligent lead assignment
Leads could not be assigned by zipcode proximity, closing-rate performance or workload, so distribution was manual and uneven.
03
Poor relationship management
Modules could not be related, making it hard to follow a customer from first enquiry through installation and maintenance.
04
Shallow reporting
Spreadsheet-style reports gave little insight and none of the analytical depth strategic decisions need.
05
Missing business features
No commission structures by rep tier, no automated invoicing, no product management and no inventory for the warehouse.
06
Manual workflows
Advanced automation was unavailable, so processes that should run on their own needed a person every time.
07
Round-robin was not enough
Distribution had to weigh geography, performance and current workload together, which no off-the-shelf rule could do.
